Khanyounis – The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution in association with " Save children " institution , ended the activities of a training course for many psychological counselors in 4 schools in Al Qarara & Khozaa' , within the project " Remedial Education and child protection within the participation of the local society " which is funded by the Italian Cooperation .
The training aimed at strengthening the counselors' capacities and developing their skills . The counselors are trained on the children's rights and the case management .
The project coordinator , Raed Abu Saada , stated that this project targets 960 pupils of the tenth and eleventh grade .
Also, he stated that they will form a committee targeting 25 pupils in each school as many activities will be implemented in order to strengthen the pupils' rights and improve the educational environment for these schools .
Abu Saada confirmed that the trainees expressed that they get the benefits from this training and they have the ability to deal with the teenagers .
