The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution in association with " Save Children " Institution , started implementing the remedial teaching for about 480 students of the tenth and eleventh class in Al Qarara and Khozaa , within the project " Remedial Education and Child Protection within the Participation of the Local Society " which is funded by the Italian Cooperation.
This project aims at improving the academic level of the students by the remedial teaching in Arabic , English and Maths , developing their capacities by the psycho-social support activities and caring of them by the parents , teachers and the local society members .
The project coordinator , Raed Abu Saada , confirmed that they finished training the teachers , the counselors and the activators on how they could implement the remedial teaching for those students and offer the guidance services to them .
Also , he confirmed that the students expressed their happiness and interest about this project as it deals with the subjects which are the most difficult for them and that the teachers use the modern techniques in teaching .
