Hebron – The Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Women Forum Benevolent Association organized a public meeting in Ithna within the project of " Introducing the civil services " which is funded by the American Agency for International Development . within the program of reinforcing the capacities of the Palestinian Authority which is applied in the Ministry of Interior in Hebron by the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution .
The meeting is attended by several local institutions , the police , the school administrators and a number of the teachers in the town .
The meeting began with a speech said by the coordinator of Hebron, Mr. Saad Shalaldah , as he welcomed the spokesmen of the Ministry of Interior ; the director general , Dr. Kayed Jaradat and many departments managers in the ministry and the forum attendees .
This project is considered within the activities of the center and its projects in 2010 .
The women forum welcomed the center ,the spokesmen of the Ministry of Interior ,the attendees of the local institutions and the policemen . Then Dr. Kayed Jaradat discussed and presented a detailed article about the departments of the ministry ,the Israeli procedures, the developments of the ministry , the general aims of the ministry and the departments of the ministry .
After that , a discussion is made and many questions have been asked to the representatives of the Ministry of Interior by the attendees about the obstacles and problems that the civilians front . Also, many answers and recommendations have been taken such as guiding the civilians to the activities of the work in the ministry , reducing the fees of the stamps and the loss of the identity , returning Ithna town as one administrative reference and minimizing the time in launching the civilians transactions such as the passports .
At the end , the Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution thanked the attendees , the Ministry of Interior for its cooperation and the women forum and the local institutions of Ithna for their attendance .
